Announcing the new ERA at a launch event at the London Stock Exchange earlier this week, Migration Solutions’ Managing Director, Alex Rabbetts said: “Data centres and computer rooms are extraordinary environments. Compared to equivalent work space, they can consume up to 50 times as much power – for the first time our new ERA tool will enable data centre managers to measure this environmental impact and, crucially, control it.”

The new tool will be deployed with immediate effect with initial customer Environmental Reports and Audits being carried out across the summer period.
